Kwandwe has fantastic game viewing. Unusually, each vehicle has two sets of expert eyes, a ranger and a spotter (usually born in the area). In a stay of three or more nights it is highly likely you will see the Big Five alongside cheetah, giraffe, zebra, warthog, springbok, steenbok, kudu, nyala, wildebeest, hartebeest, mongoose, baboon, vervet monkey, maybe the endangered black rhino, bat-eared fox, aardwolf, meerkat, and probably some baby animals.
It is also possible to fish or join a big game walk – an extraordinary experience tracking rhino, elephant or buffalo on foot. All lodges have a swimming pool and friendly, helpful staff. Everything is included, even laundry and babysitting. Only spa treatments (in-room) cost extra.
